Game - how to set up 'Reel'

Reel Campaign Guide

What a Reel Campaign Can Be Used For

Users watch a series of items or icons scroll vertically, similar to a slot machine. When the animation stops, one item is selected as the result. The experience is simple, fast, and visually engaging, making it perfect for capturing attention, driving interaction, and highlighting specific rewards or key content.

Setting Up a Reel Campaign

  1. Open the campaign and select the Reel game.
  2. Add your design and other settings.
  3. We recommend reusing an existing design kit and then adding your prizes while customizing the overall look of the game.

Prizes

  1. Select each prize from the dropdown menu and update the image individually.
  2. Important: Always add both the prize and no prize; the campaign will not function correctly without both.
  3. After setting up the prizes, go to Game Settings to customize the prize icons so they match your overall design. This ensures players can clearly see whether they’ve won or not.

You can also:

  • Add a background image
  • Place an image or object on top of the background for added customization

Game and Style Settings

Under Settings, define:

  • Reel size
  • Number of reels (1 or 3)

Under Style, you can adjust:

  • Slot size
  • Gap between reels
  • Other design options to match your campaign look

Standard Campaign Setup

Follow the standard campaign setup steps to ensure everything works correctly:

Test the full flow: Once the campaign is set up and live, run a full test to make sure all data and functionality are working.

Check prize setup: Ensure each prize is correctly configured:

Set the winner chance

  • Add all relevant prize information
  • Design the prize page so it aligns with your campaign

Winner emails (if included in your package/license):

  • Ensure the email is designed and active

Important:

If you make any changes to prize information at any level, always:

  1. Double-check that the prize is still attached to the game via the dropdown menu.
  2. Verify that all changes appear on the prize page and in the winner email.
  3. Update the campaign and run a full live test to confirm everything works as expected.
