Game - how to set up 'Scratch item'
What a Scratch Card/Item campaign can be used for
Users interact with a digital scratch card by “scratching” the surface to reveal a prize or message.
The difference between Scratch Card and Scratch Item is what’s being scratched: Scratch Card uses a full background image, while Scratch Item is for individual elements like products, making setup simpler.
To set up the 'Scratch Card' campaign, open the campaign and select the game. From there, you can add your design and configure the settings.
We recommend starting with an existing design kit, then adding your prizes and customizing the visual layout of the game.

Settings
In 'Settings', you can define how many cards need to be scratched to reveal the image, product, or message underneath. You can choose up to 9 cards in total and also specify how many should appear per row.
Prizes
For the game to work, you need to add the icons and the prize itself so that it appears when scratching the surface, then press Save. The remaining icons will appear as other images and will be marked as No prize.
When choosing the icons underneath the surface, you can adjust the quantity by adding or removing icons here.
REMEMBER: When adding a new prize, you need to add it to the icons as well - always remember to press 'update.
You can also change the image of the “coin” used to scratch the surface. This could be your logo, a product, or any other element that fits your branding.
You can also customize individual cards by selecting them. Here, you can adjust their size settings.
To define how the icon underneath should appear, go to the 'Icon' section.
From there, you can replace the card image with a product, picture, or anything that fits your campaign's visual style.
Important: Make sure to upload both the card image, clip image and the background for everything to display correctly.
Note: the clip image function will make the icon appear within the actual image.
Next, adjust the sizing of the icon under the surface. Toggle the 'Show' button to preview the icon, then position and resize it so it fits within the card image and background as you want it.
You can also add a shadow to the coin or object to enhance its visual appearance. Additionally, remember to set the percentage users need to scratch to reveal the surface underneath.
If you set it to 100%, keep in mind that some users might abandon the campaign—especially if the image is large—since they’ll have to scratch off every part of it. Consider this when deciding on the percentage.
