How do I set up my general email address for sending emails in Scratcher?

To get started, add the email address you want to use as the sender (e.g., info@name.com) in your Scratcher settings.


Follow these steps:


  • Go to Account (left corner)
  • Click on Data & Access
  • Navigate to Email Domains
  • Click + Add Sending Email


This will allow you to register the sender email you'd like to use in your campaigns.



Accept the Domain Invitation


Once you’ve added the email, Scratcher will send an invitation to verify your domain.



Verify Your Email Domain (DNS Setup Required)


Even after accepting the invitation, your email may still appear as unverified. This means you need to complete the DNS verification step.



You’ll see a list of DNS records. These need to be passed on to whoever manages your domain – usually your IT department or domain host.


Then What?


Once those DNS records have been added:


  • Your email will usually be verified automatically within a few hours.
  • If not, feel free to reach out to Scratcher for support.


All Set!


After it's verified, your sender email will be ready to use for sending emails through Scratcher.
