Scipt or Iframe Setup

Script vs. iFrame – Embedding Your Campaign

When embedding a campaign on your website, you have two main options: Script or iFrame. The right choice depends on your website setup and technical requirements.

Where to find the embed options

To access the embed code:

  • Go to Step 3: Configure
  • Open Settings
  • Locate Embedded URL

Here, you will find:

  • Embedded Script
  • iFrame option

The script is the most commonly used option and works for most standard website setups.

How it works:
  • The script is inserted directly into your website
  • It integrates more naturally with your site’s structure

Important:
  • The script **for pop-ups only **must be placed in the <head> section of your website
  • Make sure your website and browser are up to date for best performance

When to use:
  • Standard website integrations
  • When no special technical constraints are present

Using the iFrame (Advanced Setup)

The iFrame option is typically used for more advanced or specific setups.

How it works:
  • The campaign is embedded inside a frame within your website
  • It is more isolated from the rest of your site

When to use:
  • When your website has specific technical requirements
  • When your internal team or developer prefers iFrame implementation
  • For more controlled or custom integrations

This option is often handled by developers to ensure it fits perfectly within your website environment.

Important considerations
  • Display differences may occur depending on:
    • Website structure
    • Device (desktop, tablet, mobile)
    • Browser or system version
  • If something is not displaying correctly:
    • Try updating your browser or device
    • Check your implementation setup
