Interactive Graphics Setup

What Interactive Graphics Can Be Used For

Interactive Graphics allow users to engage directly with visual elements—clicking, hovering, exploring, or navigating content in a dynamic and intuitive way. This transforms static visuals into interactive experiences that: Increase engagement, Guide user decisions, and Encourage interaction and action. It is ideal for: Product exploration, Educational experiences, Interactive maps or layouts, and Campaign storytelling.

Setting Up the Campaign

Interactive Graphics is not a standalone game but a special format available depending on your license.
To add it:

  • Go to Campaign Flow
  • Click New Page
  • Select Interactive Graphic

This will create a page where you can build your interactive experience.

Adding Your Graphic

To get started:

  • Upload the image you want to use (e.g. a calendar, map, layout, product overview, business area, or a photo illustrating your product(s))
  • This image will act as the base for interaction

Remember that the image size is defined in pixels within the platform, ranging from 1 to 1000 px in width. Make sure to design the image accordingly, and also adjust it for mobile so it doesn’t extend all the way to the edges.

Mapping Interactive Elements

You can define clickable or interactive areas on your image:

  • Add items to specific positions
  • Adjust placement and size
  • Define where each item appears

Actions & Navigation

Each interactive item can be connected to:

  • Another game
  • A specific page in the flow
  • A campaign step or experience

This allows you to build a fully interactive journey.

Scheduling (Optional)

You can control when items appear:

  • Enable scheduling per item by going to Settings
  • Navigate to Item Schedule
  • Activate Schedule Map Items Activity
    • If using a calendar, also enable Advanced Calendar

Then:

  • Go to Content → Map Items
  • Select each item individually
  • Go to Schedule and click Add New Schedule
  • Define specific dates or time periods
    • For time ranges, select Between → Fixed Date and configure the schedule

If a specific item should lead to another page:

  • Go to Click Action
  • Select the desired page in the flow

Prizes (Optional Setup)

You can connect prizes to the campaign in different ways:

  • Winners are selected after the campaign ends

Direct Win (Advanced Setup)

You can reward users instantly if they guess correctly.
However, be aware:

  • If many users guess correctly, you must ensure you have enough prizes
  • You will need both:
    • A win (prize) page
    • A no prize page

However, please note that if you create new games linked to different markers in your Interactive Graphic, you must first assign the prize to the game that follows the interactive image. This ensures that the prize is activated in relation to that specific flow.

Styling & Layout

Under Style, you can:

  • Adjust the width of the image
  • Optimize layout for desktop, tablet, and mobile

Ensure the experience is:

  • Responsive
  • Easy to navigate
  • Visually clear

Hover Effects

Hover effects help highlight interactive elements visually.
To add hover effects:

  • Go to Content → Map Items
  • Select Edit Map Item Positions
  • Click on an item and go to Hover
  • Enable hover effects (e.g. shadow)

Important Notes
  • If hover effects do not apply globally, enable them individually per item
  • Use Use Hover toggle inside each item if needed
