Swipe It Campaign Setup

What a Swipe It Campaign Can Be Used For

A Swipe It campaign lets users swipe left or right to make choices, indicate preferences, or interact with content in a simple and engaging way. Each swipe can be used to: Categorize content, or Trigger outcomes (e.g. favorites or preferences). It is ideal for: Preference-based campaigns, Product or content sorting, Engagement activations, and Interactive decision-making experiences.

Setting Up the Campaign

To set up a Swipe It campaign, start by opening your campaign and selecting the Swipe It game. From there:

  • Add your design kit
  • Configure game settings
  • Customize the visual layout and interaction flow

πŸ’‘ We recommend starting with an existing design kit and then adapting it by adding your content, prizes, and visual styling.

Campaign Flow Setup

After selecting the game, navigate to the campaign flow and open the game section. From here, you can edit the main components of the experience:

  • Questions (swipe items)
  • Result pages

Each section controls a different part of the user journey.

Questions (Swipe Content)

In the Questions section, you define the content users will interact with. You can:

  • Upload images, text, or other media
  • Define items users will swipe on
  • Structure content into categories (e.g. furniture, food, wine, products, etc.) depending on the campaign goal

Each question represents an individual swipe interaction. To customize each item:

  • Click into the page or item
  • Upload images, logos, or icons
  • Adjust layout and visual presentation
  • Enable the Advanced field to unlock additional configuration options

Content & Visual Setup

Most of the Swipe It configuration is handled inside the Content section of the game. Here, you will typically find multiple dropdowns depending on your setup, including:

  • Images
  • Results

And if Products is activated inside Settings:

  • Products
  • Product parameters

These sections allow you to control styling across the entire swipe experience.

Like / Dislike Images

You can upload custom visuals to represent user actions:

  • Like image – shown when a user swipes positively
  • Dislike image – shown when a user swipes negatively

Question Name

You can enable a Question Name, which appears above the swipe content. This is useful for:

  • Displaying product names
  • Adding descriptions
  • Providing context for each swipe item

The name is configured directly inside the swipe editor **Edit Swipe **for each item.

Use Products (Advanced Feature)

You can enable Use Products if you want to turn the Swipe It experience into a product-based interaction. This allows users to swipe on actual products instead of static images. This is ideal for:

  • Collecting user preferences
  • Understanding customer behavior
  • Product testing and validation

Product Setup

When Use Products is enabled, additional configuration options become available under Content. You can define:

  • Product title
  • Product image
  • Price
  • URL
  • Additional product parameters

Product Data Source

Products are managed through the Add-ons section.
Here you must:

  • Upload products manually
  • Or import them via a file

Once uploaded, products can be used inside the Swipe It game.
Without this step, the product feature will not function correctly.

Results

In the Results section, you define what happens based on user swipes. You can:

  • Add result pages
  • Upload images, text, and supporting content
  • Define outcomes based on user choices or logic
  • Adjust messaging under Result Settings

This is where the final experience is shaped and personalized.

Prizes (Optional Setup)

After configuring the swipe flow, you can add prizes to the campaign. Prizes can be:

  • Linked to outcomes or results
  • Distributed based on user interaction
  • Connected to the final result page or campaign flow

You can define:

  • Prize types
  • Distribution logic
  • Visual presentation of rewards
