Personality Quiz & Quiz by Video

Personality Quiz & Quiz by Video allows you to combine different question types—such as text, images, and video—with multiple answer formats like multiple choice, text input, or rating scales. It is ideal for: Quizzes, Surveys, Interactive campaigns, and Lead generation experiences.

Step 1: Create Your Campaign

Create a new campaign and enter the campaign flow. Then:

• Go to the page containing your game
• Navigate to Game
• Click the green button to open the Quiz Manager
• Click Edit Personality Test to access the game settings

Step 2: Configure Quiz Manager Settings

In the Quiz Manager, you can enable key game behaviors:

• Allow users to go back to previous questions
• Display text after an answer is selected
• Show whether an answer is correct or incorrect after the final question

These settings define how users interact with the quiz flow.

Step 3: Create Questions

To build your quiz content:

• Click Edit Personality Test → New Question
• Add a question name and description
• Select an answer format (text, text form, image, or rating)
• Optionally add images or videos via **Question Settings, that gives the following options: **
• Use question image
• Use question video
• Use advanced editor
• Allow multiple aswers
• Show text below image
• Show button below image
• Enable active period

Step 4: Result Page(s) Setup

Single Result Page

A single result page means that all users are directed to the same page after completing the quiz. This setup is used when:

• Everyone should see the same result page
• The outcome is displayed dynamically (e.g. score, message, or feedback)
• The focus is on simplicity rather than segmentation

Even with a single result page, you can still display different content based on the user’s score or answers.

Multiple Result Pages

Multiple result pages allow you to show different outcomes depending on the user’s performance. Examples:

• 0–1 correct answers → Result Page A
• 2–4 correct answers → Result Page B
• 5–6 correct answers → Result Page C

This setup is useful when you want to:

• Personalize outcomes based on performance
• Segment users into different result groups
• Show tailored messaging or content per result

Some quiz setups can also use answer-based logic (e.g. mostly A, B, or C answers), depending on the configuration.

Custom Pages (Optional)

Instead of showing a standard result page, you can use a Custom Page to redirect users to another destination.
Custom Pages are often used for:

• Reward experiences
• External landing pages
• Other games or campaign flows
• Special outcomes (e.g. perfect score redirects)

This is useful when the result should lead into a separate experience rather than a standard result screen.

Prize Logic in Quizzes

In most quiz setups, prizes are not directly tied to result pages. Instead, a draw system is typically used.

How the draw system works

• Winners are selected after the quiz is completed
• Selection is based on rules such as points, correct answers, or participation
• The draw is separate from the result page logic

This means:

• Result pages are used for feedback and content
• Prizes are handled separately through a draw or prize system

Controlled Prize Distribution

Prizes can also be managed using controlled logic, for example:

• Fixed win rate (e.g. 10% of participants win)
• Code-based reward systems
• Predefined prize pools

This ensures that prize distribution remains balanced and scalable, even in high-volume campaigns.

Combining Quiz Results with Prizes

If you want to combine quiz performance with prize eligibility, a common setup is to separate the logic into different steps:

1. User completes the quiz
2. User is directed to a result page based on score
3. A separate flow determines prize eligibility or outcome

Example:

• A user scores 3/3
• They are redirected to a result or intermediate page
• That page determines whether they qualify for a prize or additional experience

This setup allows more control over both user experience and prize distribution.

Step 5: Styling & Design

When working with quizzes and guides in Scratcher, you need to go into the Game section and open Content.
Inside the Content section, you will typically find three dropdowns (sometimes four, depending on the setup). These are:

• Questions
• Answers
• Results

These dropdowns are structured according to the page you are currently working on within the quiz flow.

Questions

The Questions section is typically used for styling elements such as fonts and colors for question headings. These settings apply across the entire quiz flow.

Answer images

Is only activated if the settings - in **Questions Setting, **then Use Question Image is activated.

Answers

The Answers section controls the styling of the answer options shown to users throughout the quiz, from start to finish.

Results

The Results section is used to style the actual result pages when using the built-in quiz result page setup.

Custom Pages

It is important to note that you can also use a Custom Page when working with quizzes. This means you are not limited to using the default result page setup in terms of the styling. If you choose to use a Custom Page, you can configure this directly in the quiz editor:

• Go to Edit Quiz
• Open Result Pages
• Set up a redirect to the Custom Page used in your campaign flow

This allows you to bypass the standard result page setup and gives you more flexibility in how the final experience is structured.

Game Data

You get a full overview of participants and campaign performance:

• What each user answered
• Answer distribution (percentages)
• Which result page each user landed on

This data is available for analysis and export. Both questions and user answers are included.

Define the Scoring System

Use a simple and transparent scoring model for easy understanding:

• Correct answer = 1 point
• Incorrect answer = 0 points
• Total questions: 7 → Maximum score = 7

This structure ensures quick scoring and a clear, easy-to-understand user experience.

Assign users to one of three personality-based outcome groups based on their total score:

0–2 points → New Beginner

3–5 points → Experienced

6–7 points → Expert

“Outstanding! You’ve demonstrated expert-level knowledge.”
