Duplicate Campaign for Another Language

How to Duplicate a Campaign (and Prepare for Translation)

Duplicating a campaign is useful when you want to reuse an existing setup in another language or market. The process creates a copy of your campaign, but certain elements still need to be adjusted manually afterward.

How to Duplicate a Campaign

You can duplicate a campaign in two ways:

1. From the campaign overview
  • Go to the Manage overview
  • Find the campaign
  • Click Actions → Select → Make a copy

Please note that it may take a few moments for the system to prepare the duplicated version.

2. From inside the editor
  • Open the campaign
  • Click the Scratcher logo in the top-left corner
  • Select Copy campaign

Setup after duplication

When duplicating a campaign, you must configure the following:

  • Country
  • Campaign name
  • Time zone

Important about time zone: The time zone does not translate the campaign language. It only affects scheduling and timing logic within the campaign (e.g. start/end times). It should therefore be set according to the campaign’s operational region.

Processing time

After copying:

  • Wait 1–5 minutes
  • Refresh the Manage overview
  • The duplicated campaign will then appear

Important adjustments after copying

When a campaign is duplicated, some settings may be reset or removed automatically.

Key things to check:

  • Prizes may be removed or reset
  • Certain campaign-specific settings may not carry over
  • Integration or logic configurations may need to be re-added

This is intentional to ensure that each campaign is properly validated and not using outdated or incorrect prize setups.

After duplication:

  1. Review the full campaign flow
  2. Update language manually
  3. Reconfigure prizes and campaign-specific settings
  4. Test the full experience
  5. Publish when everything is validated
