How to set up campaign tracking for social media channels


Scratcher's tracking setup lets you connect social media platforms, define traffic sources, and configure which campaign events get sent to your tracking providers — all from within the campaign editor.


Step 1: Open the Connect panel

Open your campaign in the editor and go to Connect in the left-hand menu.


Step 2: Select Tracking

Inside Connect, select Tracking to access the tracking configuration options.


Step 3: Configure your tracking

The Tracking section has three parts: Tracking Providers, Channels, and Events.




Tracking Providers

This is where you connect your social media and analytics platforms. Add the tracking provider you want to receive campaign data.


Channels

Channels let you differentiate between traffic sources. This is useful when you are running the same campaign across multiple platforms and want to separate the data.


Events

Events define which campaign interactions get sent to your tracking providers. Add the events you want to track so they are passed through when a participant triggers them.
